This elegant bag was made in the 1950s to early 1960s from fine dark red crocodile leather. The stiff boxy shape adds an easy formality, whilst the gold and red-tone enamel hardware and clasp make this a glamorous choice of bag for a daytime event. There is a coordinating red crocodile handle attached with brass hoops. Inside, the bag is lined with polished red leather and finished with a zip pocket and two slip pockets. This bag is in very good to excellent vintage condition with the tiniest amount of wear noted to the gold tone frame and corners of the leather. The leather has a very smooth patina and the handle is strong and supple. One of the best vintage crocodile leather bags we have had in our collection for some years.
